One of the big challenges with rural and remote sites is around connectivity.
There are lots of very remote places without sufficient infrastructure to provide stable connectivity, and this includes areas without any mobile reception. This precludes relying on LTE or 5G.
A way to get around this is to relay on Satellite backhaul, with bandwidth provided by leveraging Satellite up and downlink. This however results in very high latency, that stops a lot of business-critical services from being viable for deployment.
